Maaasahan umano ang mas mabuting serbisyo ng Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 sa 2020 matapos aprubahan ng economic managers ng gobyerno ang rehabilitasyon nito.
Ayon kay Socioeconomic Planning Sec. Ernesto Pernia, inaprubahan ng Investment Coordination Committee-Cabinet Committee (ICC-CabCom) sa isang special meeting ang rehabilitasyon at regular maintenance ng 17-kilometer MTR 3.
Dahil dito, asahan na umano ang dagdag na mga bagon, mas maayos na mga riles at dagdag na regular schedule ng operasyon ng naturang transport system.
Una rito ay nag-alok ang Japan ng 38.1 billion yen o P18.3 billion na loan para sa MRT rehabilitation and maintenance.
