Mga modernong jeep bibiyahe na rin sa Iloilo
Nagsimula ngayong araw ang pagtatalaga ng mga modernong pampasaherong jeep sa Iloilo.
Ang mga modernong PUVs mula Metro Express ay inumpisahang ideploy ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa Iloilo City, at sa mga bayan ng Otan at Pavia sa Iloilo.
Tatlong bagong ruta ang magiging biyahe ng mga jeep.
Bago ang pormal na pag-arangkada ng mga modernong jeep, nagsagawa muna ng consultation meeting ang DOTr at LTFRB sa mga driver at PUV operators sa Iloilo Province.
Matapos ito ay nagsagawa ng motorcade at ipinakita sa publiko ang mga bago at modernong jeep.
Bilang panimula ng biyahe ngayong araw, nag-alok ng libreng sakay sa mga modern PUV.
