Konstruksyon ng dalawang tulay sa Maynila, pinabibilisan ni Duterte
Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Department of Public Works and Highways na bilisan ang konstruksyon sa Ettrella-Pantaleon Bridge at Binondo-Intramuros Bridge sa Maynila.
Ito ay matapos pondohan ng China ang pagpapatayo ng dalawang tulay.
Ayon sa pangulo, kinakailangan na matapos ng DPWH ang dalawang tulay sa loob ng 30 buwan o mas maaga pa.
Naniniwala ang pangulo na malaki ang maitutulong ng dalawang tulay para mapabilis ang biyahe ng mga motorista at maibsan ang trapik.
Kasabay nito, pinasalamatan ng pangulo ang China dahil sa mga ayudang ipinagkaloob sa Pilipinas.
“I am therefore directing the DPWH and the other agencies concerned to ensure that the construction of these bridges will be finished within 30 months or earlier. Maybe, the end of the year? Ah impossible,” ani Duterte.
