Magnitude 6.1 na lindol tumama sa Vanuatu

Niyanig ng malakas na magnitude 6.1 na lindol ang Vanuatu.
Ayon sa US Geological Survey, may lalim na 21 kilometers ang lindol at naitala sa 30 kilometers west ng capital na Port Vila.
Maliit naman ang tsansa na magdudulot ito ng pinsala.
Pero nagbabala na ang USGS na masusundan ng aftershocks ang lindol.
Ang Vanuatu ay mayroong 280,000 na populasyon sa 65 inhabited islands nito at itinuturing na isa sa mga most disaster-prone countries sa mundo.
