NDFP hindi lalahok sa public consultation para sa peace talks
Hindi makikiisa ang National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) sa gagawing public consultation ng pamahalaan kaugnay sa usaping pagkapayaan sa pagitan ng gobyerno at komunistang grupo.
Ito ang naging tugon ni Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria Sison sa pahayag ni government negotioator Hernani Braganza na bukas ang NDFP sa imbitasyon ng pamahalaan na lumahok sa public consultation.
Ani Sison, walang dahilan upang sumali ang NDFP sa public consultation na nasa ilalim ng kontrol ng pamahalaan.
Aniya, mas gusto ng kanilang grupo na isang isang third-party peace advocate ang mamuno sa isasagawang public consultation upang nasa patas na lugar ang kanilang grupo at ang pamahalaan.
Samantala, sa hiwalay na pahayag ay sinabi ni NDFP panel chair Fidel Agcaoili na magpapatuloy silang magsagawa ng consultation sa Comprehensive Agreement on Social and Economic Reforms (CASER) na layong i-review ang mga isyu sa agrarian reform at National Industrialization and Economic Development (NIED), maging sa panukalang Environmental Rehabilitation and Compensation and Upholding People’s Rights.
Mayroon ding unilateral consultation ang NDFP patungkol sa mga repormang pulitikal at konstitusyunal.
