Survey na nagsasabing bumaba ang bilang ng mga pamilya na nabiktima ng ‘common crimes’, welcome sa Malacañang
Welcome sa Malacañang ang survey ng Social Weather Stations (SWS) na nagsasabing bumaba ang bilang ng mga pamilyang Filipino na nabiktima ng common crimes.
“We welcome the latest Social Weather Station (SWS) survey showing 6.6% of families reporting victimization by any of the crimes within the past six months – down from December 2017’s 7.6%,” ani Roque.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na ang sentimyentong ito ng publiko ay magpapalakas sa morale ng mga tagapagpatupad ng batas.
“Such public sentiment is certainly a big boost to the morale of our law enforcement agencies as we vow to continue to ensure the safety of all Filipinos,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
Anya pa, mas titiyakin pa ng gobyerno ang kaligtasan ng lahat ng mga Filipino.
Lumalabas sa survey ng SWS na 1.5 milyong Filipino ang nabiktima ng common crimes sa unang bahagi ng 2018 na mas mababa sa 1.7 milyon na naitala noong December 2017.
Kabilang sa common crimes ang ng pagnanakaw, panloloob, physical violence at carnapping.
