Liderato ng Kamara pumalag sa naging banat sa kanila ni Sereno
Pumalag si House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas sa naging pahayag ni dating Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno na hinostage umano ng Kamara ang budget ng Mataas na Hukuman.
Ayon kay Fariñas “cunningly crazy” at “quadruple hearsay” ang akusasyon ni Sereno.
Sa alegasyon ni Sereno, napag-alaman niya daw niya daw kay Supreme Court spokesman Theodore Te na sinabi ni Fariñas kay Associate Justice Diosdado Peralta na iniutos ni Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez ang pagsuspinde sa budget deliberations ng judiciary hangga’t hindi ibinibigay ng Korte Suprema ang mga dokumentong kailangan ng complainant sa impeachment case.
Paliwanag pa nito, ang 15 impeachment hearings ng House Justice Committee ay isinagawa mula November 22, 2017 hanggang February 27, 2017 o mahigit dalawang buwan matapos aprubahan sa third reading ang Budget noong September 22, 2017.
Ipinalalabas lamang anya ni Sereno sa publiko na siya ang biktima para makakuha ng simpatya sa niluluto nitong pagtakbo sa Senado.
