Mga kandidato para sa mababakanteng pwesto sa Korte Suprema isinailalim sa public interview ng JBC
Sumalang na sa public interview ng Judicial and Bar Council ang iba pang mga kandidato para sa mababakanteng pwesto sa Korte Suprema.
Sa ginawang public panel interview unang sumalang si CA Associate Justice Manuel Barrios ng Court of Appeals na sinundan nina Davao regional trial court judge Carlos Espero II, at CA Justice Oscar Badelles.
Huwebes ng hapon naman sasalang din sa panayam sina CA Associate Justices Ramon Garcia, Amy Lazaro-Javier, at dating Ateneo School of Law dean Cesar Villanueva.
Labingdalawa lahat ang kandidato para sa mababakanteng pwesto ang anim ay nauna nang naisalang sa public interview kasama na si Court Administrator Justice Jose Midas Marquez.
Si Velasco ay nakatakdang magretiro sa AUgust 8, 2018.
