Ginawaran ng honorary blackbelt title ng Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters, at ng World University Taekwondo Federation (WUTF) si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte
Ito ay matapos ang offical visit sa South Korea.
Bukod sa pangulo ginawaran din ng kaparehong titulo si Special Assistant to the President Christopher Bong Go.
Mismong si Governor Kim Seong Tae ang naggawad ng Honorary 9th Dan Blackbelt certificate kay Pangulong Duterte habang Honorary 5th Dan Blackbelt certificate naman ang kay Go.
Malaki naman ang pasasalamat nina Pangulong Duterte at ni Go sa ibinigay na parangal ng mga opisyal sa institusyon.
Ayon kay Go, sinusuportahan ng Gobyernong Duterte ang sports katulad ng taekwondo na lumalaganap na rin sa Pilipinas.
Bukod sa Pangulong Duterte at kay Go ginawaran din ng Honorary Dan Blackbelts sina dating US President Barrack Obama at Russian President Vladimir Putin na kapwa nakatanggap ng Honorary 9th Dan Blackbelt certificates.
