DTI at DICT, may pangontra na sa AI sa call centers

Gagamitin ng Department of Trade and Industry at Department of Information and Communications Technology ang Artificial Intelligence o AI para mawala ang banta nito sa mga trabaho sa Information Technology at call centers.

Sa tulong ng isang tech company, tuturuan at sasanayin ng dalawang kagawaran ang mga nasa call center industry para gamitin naman ang Augmented Intelligence o AI2 systems.

Sinabi ni Trade Sec. Ramon Lopez sa halip na mapalitan ng AI ang mga trabaho sa IT at call centers, gagamitin nila ang mga sistema na mula din sa AI sa pamamagitan naman ng talino at husay ng mga Filipino information technologists.

Nabatid na nanganganib na maapektuhan ang kalahati ng 1.3 milyong trabaho sa IT at Business Process Outsourcing dahil sa AI.

Ayon kay Lopez, Pilipinas ang kauna-unahang bansa na gagawa nito at tiwala ito na ang programa ay lilikha pa ng mga bagong trabaho at magpapasigla sa call center industry sa bansa.
