Muling pagpapatupad ng P2/travel charge, hiniling ng Grab sa LTFRB
Hiniling ng Grab Philippines sa Land Transportation Franchising and regulatory Board na muling ipatupad ang P2/minute travel charge.
Ikinatwiran ng Grab na labag sa equal protection clause sa ilalim ng Saligang Batas ang suspensyon sa travel charge nito.
Sa petisyon nito, sinabi ng Grab na ang suspensyon nito ay nagdulot ng benepisyo sa ibang transport network companies (TNC). Lumipat daw kasi sa kanila ang drivers at operators ng Grab dahil pinapayagan ang ibang TNCs na magpatong ng per minute charge.
Sinuspinde ng LTFRB ang P2/minute travel charge ng Grab habang iniimbestigahan nito ang akusasyon ni PBA party-list Rep. Jericho Nograles ng illegal charges ng TNC.
