Justice Teresita De Castro tinanggihan ang nominasyon para maging susunod na Ombudsman

Tinanggihan ni Associate Justice Teresita Leonardo De Castro ang nominasyon para sa Ombudsman.
Sa kanyang liham sa Judicial and Bar Council, sinabi ni De Castro na nais niyang ipagpatuloy ang pagsisilbi sa Korte Suprema hanggang sa umabot siya sa retirement age.
Ipinahayag naman ng mahistrado ang kagalakan sa nominasyon.
Si retired Associate Justice Arturo Brion ang nagnomina kay De Castro.
Nakatakdang magretiro sa Korte Suprema si De Castro sa Oktubre.
