Impeachment case vs Sereno hindi pa rin tuluyang ibabasura ng Kamara
Hindi muna tatalakayin sa plenaryo ng Kamara ang report ng House Justice Committee sa impeachment laban kay dating Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Ayon kay House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas, hindi muna aaksyunan ng House Rules Committee ang ng report habang hinihintay pa ang pasya ng Supreme Court sa ihahaing Motion for Reconsideration ng kampo ni Sereno.
Paliwanag ni Fariñas, posibleng sa ikalawang araw na matapos ang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ng pangulo sa Hulyo matalakay ang impeachment.
Pagdating ng Hulyo at maging pinal ang pasya ng SC sa quo warranto laban kay Serero, idi-dismiss na nila ang impeachment dahil natanggal na ito.
Gayunman, kapag binaligtad ng SC ang pasya tatalakayin nila ang impeachment saka pagbobotohan sa plenaryo.
