Tinupok ng apoy ang isang residential area sa Sitio Kawit, Barangay Ermita sa Cebu City.

Nagsimula ang sunog pasado alas 6:00 ng umaga ng Lunes (May 7) na umabot sa Task Force Bravo.

Ilang mga kabahayan ang nadamay sa sunog, habang may dalawang bata ang napaulat na nawawala.

Inaalam pa ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Fire Protection kung ano ang pinagmulan ng apoy.
