Mahigit 200 pang OFWs mula Kuwait dumating na sa bansa
Dumating na sa bansa ang last batch ng mga overstaying na Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) sa Kuwait.
Nabatid na nag-avail ng amnesty ang 216 na OFWs matapos magpatupad ng deployment ban ang Pilipinas sa Kuwait.
Sakay ng Qatar Airways Flight QR 934 dumating sa NAIA terminal 1 ang mga OFW na pawang mga domestic helper bandang alas 6:15 Lunes ng umaga
Sinalubong ang mga OFW ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano.
Pinagkalooban sila ng P5,000 initial cash assistance.
Ayon sa datos ng DFA, umabot na sa kabuuang 5,066 OFWs ang napabalik sa bansa galing Kuwait na nag-avail ng amnesty program ng nasabing bansa.
