Joint Task Force Boracay, handa na para sa 6-month closure sa Boracay

Nakahanda na ang Philippine National Police (PNP) para sa pagsisimula ng anim na buwang pagsasara ng Boracay Island sa Huwebes, April 26.

Ayon kay Western Visayas police CSupt. Cesar Binag, aabot sa 630 na pulis ang kabilang sa Joint Task Force Boracay.

Layon aniya ng naturang task force na bantayan ang seguridad sa Boracay habang isinasagawa ang rehabilitasyon.

Aniya, ang mga miyembro ng task force ay mula sa regional police na suportado naman ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at iba pang grupo.

Kasama rin ng PNP ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Department of Tourism (DOT) sa pagpatrolya sa naturang isla bukas.
