Patay ang isang sundalo habang sugatan ang 25 iba pa sa aksidente sa Bayan ng Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Ayon kay Major General Roseller Murillo, Commander ng 1st Infantry Division ng Philippine Army, papunta na sa Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur ang ilang operatiba ng 35th Infantry Battalion para sa Army Squad Challenge nang bumaligtad ang kanilang sinasakyang trak.
Nasugatan sa insidente ang 20 sundalo at limang sibilyan.
Ayon kay Murillo, hindi pa buo ang detalye kaugnay ng insidente, pero batay sa paunang imbestigasyon, nawalan ng kontrol ang driver sa sasakyan pagsapit sa Barangay Mirangan.
