Kumpyansa si dating Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Rey Leonardo Guerrero na magiging epektibo ang pamumuno ni Lieutenant General Carlito Galvez sa AFP.
Paliwanag ni Guerrero, hindi kasi bago sa AFP si Galvez at marami na itong nahawakang posisyon.
Aniya, kasama si General Galvez sa AFP Senior Leaders na kinabibilangan ng top 3 generals, area commanders, at mga major services commanders.
Regular aniya silang nagkikita-kita para magpulong na may kinalaman sa operational at organizational issue sa AFP.
Kaya hindi na aniya maituturing na outsider si Galvez dahil kabilang ito sa mga nagdedesisyon sa mga programa at pamamalakad sa AFP.
Si Galvez ay miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy Sandiwa class of 1985 at uupo bilang ika-50 AFP Chief of Staff.
