Committee report at articles of impeachment vs Sereno inaprubahan na ng house panel

Inaprubahan na sa komite sa kamara ang committee report at articles of impeachment laban kay Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes.

Sa botong 33 yes at 1 no tanging si si Quezon City 6th Rep. Kit Belmonte ang tumutol.

Ayon kay House Justice Committee Chairman Rep. Reynaldo Umali, matapos maaprubahan sa komite ay iaakyat na ang articles if impeachment laban kay Sereno sa plenaryo ng kamara.

Doon aniya pagbobotohan ang pag-impeach sa punong mahistrado.

Samantala, patuloy ang paghahanda ng kamara para sa mga magsisilbing private prosecutors pagsapit ng impeachment hearing.

May mga kinakausap na aniya silang mga abogado para tumayong private prosecurors at ilan dito sina Atty. Tranquil Salvador at Dennis Manalo.
