Recount ng mga balota sa VP race, ipinagpaliban ng PET
Ipinagpaliban ng Presidential Electoral Tribunal o PET ang naka-schedule na recount sa mga balota para sa Vice Presidential race noong 2016 elections.
Ayon kay Atty. Vic Rodriguez- isa sa mga abogado ng dating Sen. Bong Bong Marcos, napilitan ang PET na ilipat sa April 2 ang orihinal na March 19 schedule ng recount dahil sa kakulangan ng mga aaktong revisors.
Ayon sa PET, 42 lamang sa 50 revisors ang pumasa sa isinagawang psychological examination.
Sinabi ng PET na mapunan man ang kakulangang 8 pang revisors ay itutuloy na ang manual recount sa April 2.
Bukod sa Camarines Sur, tinukoy din bilang pilot province para sa recount ang Iloilo at Negros Oriental.
Kinukwestyon ni Marcos ang resulta ng 2016 Vice Presidential election matapos siyang maungusan ni VP Leni Robredo ng mahigit 263, 000 votes.
