Philippine Ambassador to the African State iniimbestigahan dahil sa Katiwalian
Pinaiimbestigahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang reklamo ng diplomatic staff ng Philippine Embassy sa Nigeria laban kay Ambassador Shirley Ho-Vicario.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, seryosong tinatanggap ng pangulo ang anumang reklamo laban sa mga opisyal ng gobyerno lalo na sa usapin sa kurapsyon.
“It will be investigated. The President takes this very, very seriously. Okay? Thank you,” Pahayag ng kalihim.
Base sa reklamo ni Consular Officer Elmor Maglunsod, sangkot sa korupsyon at unethical practices si Vicario.
Noong May 1, 2017 nang italaga ng pangulo si Ho-Vicario bilang Philippine Ambassador to the African State.
Idinagdag pa ni Roque na sensitibo ang pangulo sa mga reklamo ukol sa katiwalian at ilang beses na itong napatunayan makaraan niyang sibakin sa posisyon pati na ang ilang mga opisyal na malapit sa kanya.
