Libreng internet sa mga liblib na lugar ikinakasa na ng gobyerno
Pinaghahandaan na ng pamahalaan ang pamamahaagi ng 42, 000 satellite receivers sa mga liblib na barangay sa buong bansa.
Ayon kay Presidential Communications Operations Office Sec. Martin Andanar ito ay para mabigyan ng direct access kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang publiko.
Dagdag ni Andanar taong 2017 pa inaprubahan ng pangulo ang naturang proyekto.
Magkakarooon aniya ng government bulletin board channel para sa lagay ng panahon, at channels sa mga pangunahing government agencies gaya ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Department of Health (DOH) at iba pa.
Lahat aniya ng kalamidad, mga babala, lahat ng balita, bulletin board mula sa gobyerno ay maipaparating hindi lang sa Metro Manila kundi sa buong Pilipinas.
Ayon kay Andanar nakalulungkot dahil napakarami pa ring mga probinsiya ang walang cellphone signal kaya nabuksan ang konsepto para sa government satellite network.
