Matataas na opisyal ng DOH, nagsampa ng reklamong libel laban sa dating DOH consultant

Inireklamo ng libel sa Manila City Prosecutors Office ng mga matataas na opisyal ng Department of Health (DOH) ang isang dating consultant kagawaran.

Base sa 23-pahinang complaint affidavit, inireklamo si Dr. Francisco Cruz na noon ay consultant ni dating Health Sec. Paulyn Ubial.

Nagsilbing complainant sareklamo Sina DOH Undersecretaries Maria Carolina Vidal-Taiño; Gerardo Bayugo at Lilibeth David; Assistant Secretary Nestor Santiago at mga direktor na sina Laureano Cruz, Maria Joyce Ducusin at Mar Wynn Bello.

Anila, walang basehan ang mga akusasyon ni Cruz hinggil sa umano ay pagkakaroon ng mafia sa kagawaran kaugnay sa Dengvaxia vaccine.

Nauna nang sinabi ni Cruz na 18 indibidwal ang sangkot at nagsabwatan sa isyu kabilag si dating Health Secretary Janette Garin.
