Consignee ng P6.4B shabu shipment, arestad ng NBI sa Iloilo
Naaresto ng mga tauhan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang consignee ng P6.4 billion shabu shipment na nakapuslit papasok sa bansa.
Ayon kay NBI-Public Information Office chief, Nick Suarez, si Eirene Mae Tatad ay nadakip ng mga ahente ng NBI sa Iloilo, Biyernes (Feb. 2) ng umaga.
Isa si Tatad sa mga kapwa akusado ng customs broker na si Mark Taguba sa kasong isinampa ng Department of Justice (DOJ) kaugnay sa nasabing shabu shipment.
Siya ang consignee o sa kaniya nakapangalan ang shipment ng shabu na nakalusot sa BOC at natuklasan sa warehouse sa Valenzuela City.
Nakatakdang dalhin sa NBI head office sa Maynila si Tatad.
